“We Believe in building up the young generation in leadership, wisdom, and virtues. We believe LOVE can change the world. The Young Warriors are change makers.”

Thomas Tham,
Founder of Empowering Young Warriors.”

At Ternary, we believe our responsibility as investors is to ensure that all sectors of society benefit from the economic growth in Asia. To help us achieve this goal, Ternary is proud to be a sponsor of Empowering Young Warriors Asia (EYWA).

Established in 2014, EYWA helps children in Indonesia, Cambodia and Philippines break out of the cycle of poverty and some of the toughest conditions in South East Asia. From child laborers working in charcoal factories in Cambodia to children scavenging the dumps in Philippines, EYWA adopts the Asset Based Community Development (ABCD) approach to provide education, food, housing and medical care to children in need.

Ternary works with EYWA to assist them with their education, daily expenses and their participation in the Young Warriors program. Beyond meeting the basic needs of these children, EYWA prepares them for a brighter, better tomorrow by providing them with structured programs that provide an alternative outlet to the vices that plague their communities.

Equipped with a sense of purpose and a sense of identity, the Young Warriors are prepared for a future of leadership in their communities through activities that focus on character, physical, mental and spiritual development. Over the years, there have been numerous success stories in the Young Warriors Program.

There are currently 50 children from EYWA who have received scholarships to attend the prestigious Tondo – Westminster High School in Philippines.

Previous EYWA high school graduates have gone on to enroll and obtain degrees in Education, Criminology, Law, Pharmacy, Physical Therapy, International Business and Information Technology.
